Ok, im currently in the beta stage (fixing bugs, redoing the look of one of my sites). I really want a particualr url, but its currently used...but not for long! The url i want was: Created 30 Sep 2006 Expires on 30 Sep 2008 The page hasnt been updated since Oct 2007...is there a method of "booking" domain names?
I know of some registrars that offer the service to try and grab the domain as soon as it becomes available
hmm...i will need to look into that. I have already been using the url with beta at the end hoping that i get it. If i dont, it means i will need to rebrand two of my websites! Eeeeek! Can you tell me which registrars offer that service mate? cheers!!
Domain owners usually renew domains 1 month before the expiration date. 95% the domain will be renewed. You can contact the domain owner asking if he is interested to sell the domain. Otherwise you can backorder the domain once it's expired (with godaddy and pool for example).
Hmm...thats a real worry. Im kinda hoping he doesnt renew it...since its not been updated since 2007. Guess i will need to just keep checking until its free! Heres hoping eh! @ Evil...I recently found out about godaddy...so will check the "backorder" thing your talking about! Thanks mate!
