Book advice (about from beginning to end)

I just got Ian Lloyd's book "Build Your Own Web Site the Right Way Using HTML and CSS" as a pdf-file. I would like to have one other similar book, as a book.

Could you tell me, is there also another book that shows from beginning to end how to build a real (but maybe example) web page?

Secondly, what is "the next step" from Lloyd´s book?

    Thanx in advance!

I would recommend CSS The Missing Manual for learning all the basics, or most any book written by David Sawyer McFarland. It's very good at pointing out many of the common cross browser issues you will likely run into, particularly with IE, and how to work around them. You will develop a small sample site as you work through the book.
