Okay, I'm going to ask you guys a question:

Usually when you create a marketing campaign for something, you mention that you are going to give a bonus, or you attract them somehow. I decided to do the same right now, expect that I'm planning to email/pm all my customers that have purchased from my both DP offers here on DigitalPoint, advertising spots on mylol.net and also text links.

I was thinking of giving a bonus:
    - 2 week free advertising on a high ctr position for a 720x90/468x60 banner - to any customer that bought services for more than $50 (most of them).

I will definetly loose some money (about $10/day) but I'll make them even more loyal to my services.

What do you think about this unexpected bonus, from a marketeer's point of view, thinking that I made almost $650 from DigitalPoint offers and this will probably cost me around $140 - Take and Give!

Dont give away any bonus that you arent prepared to lose. If it will put you at significant loss or risk dont do it. but if you can afford to lose the money, I see no reason why not to. :)

The loss is temporarily as I recover it in 1 month and a half I suppose.

To me it is ok as long as you do not lose any money per sale. And looks likes you will not make any loss as you mention you get about $50 per sale and surely your bonus per sale is way less than $50, right ?
    So you are ok.

    sounds like a fair plan

dont consider it a loss, consider it an investment in your buisness.

you will make people more dedicated to you and your products/offers, you will make friends, and become trusted with people

so the next time you bring out something for $$$, they will be more likely to take it, why? because they know your trustable and worth it.

I agree with dragonskull and with your initial thought of making your customers more loyal. Over delivering = happy customers.
