    Hi Guys,

So I have heard things about bolding keywords in your content is good for SEO... since google looks for bolded words... Is this true? Will Google frown upon this? Is this a good tactic to use to rank higher on keywords for google? We write a lot of content and want to know if I should start not only linking the keywords to my site... but also making some keywords not a link but bolded...

    Please let me know!

    Thanks,
    Clucks2772

You can do both, you can internal links some keywords within a web page and you can make bold, italic, underlined this way your on-page optimization would be good.

Try to keep keyword density around 2%.

Yes, they work as signals to Google and through them you are telling web spiders that they should pay some more attention to these words.

I've only recently started bolding certain keywords, I do use it very selectively though.
