I am looking for input on bodybuilding.com. A week ago I signed up for the bodybuilding.com affiliate program through commission junction. I was set to start a new advertising campaign tomorrow. This morning I checked my email and found an email from commission junction stating that I was abusing bodybuilding.com links by posting internal coupons for their store. I have not posted any links for bodybuilding.com and after this false accusation may not advertise for them. Has anyone else had problems with bodybuilding.com ? Thanks for your input
I am currently promoting that site and haven't had any problems with them. Maybe you can contact CJ or the affiliate manager of Bodybuilding.com to get more information, as you stated that you have not started any promotion as yet.
I recieved the same email. I emailed back and haven't received any reply. I'm wondering if it was just a general email that went out to everyone or perhaps it was a mistake.
bb.com requested that it go out to all of their affiliates, if you haven't been using internal coupons on your site then just ignore it.
How do you know this? Did you speak with the Bodybuilding.com Affiliate Manager? I haven't received the email from CJ but then my affiliate sales (for Bodybuilding.com) are small. I wonder if the Affiliate Manager at Bodybuilding.com screwed up and was giving away the internal codes to "friends" and is now ducking for cover...
I contacted bodybuilding.com customer service and they directed me to their forum which wasn't very helpful. I did find a post in their forum through google that deals with this issue. It looks like I am not the only one to be blindly accused of fraud. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=106543401
