If another lad tried hitting on me, I'd be worried :p

Most of the time people will just help you if your doing something wrong.

Problem is 90% of the people don't know what they are doing either, same goes for the trainers!

I go running every day/two days or so. I'd like to start doing other things, building muscles slowly, getting a flat stomach etc, but I don't know how to and don't want to risk injury. Can't afford a gym membership, does anyone know any online sites that explain things?

Cardio burns muscle, to build muscle one needs to take a different approach to things. Granted with the correct mix you can still increase muscle mass, I however like to build more muscle and don't like cardio interfering with that. I also do 2 hour workouts which burns enough calories the way it is ;)
    There are tons of them.
http://www.bodybuilding.com has lots of programs, articles, etc.
http://www.ironmass.com is a small forum, very helpful people.

I'd consider bodybuilding.com a store more than a forum personally, because the forum is just full of reviews, tips, photos etc.

I was considering getting a mag subscription, but in the end didn't.

I've had it, when I want to look something up real quick I will use it. Not all the time or anything, once in awhile ;)

Can I meet you there? :D

Hey guys, I got a question for you all!

I just started back into building some muscle, I made another thread but I didn't know this one existed still.

Anyhow, I got back to doing dips and I was able to do them with no trouble so I decided to do slow negatives. Again no trouble, I was soar of course but not super soar like I was when I first ever worked out.

So my question is, I am trying to build my upper body! Chest, Biceps, Shoulders etc...

So I am doing, dips, bicep curls, push ups, rowing and a back work out to finish off! Lets just say that when I am done I am pretty well beat, so my question is... Is this to much for one 30-45 minute workout? Every 3rd day?

My diet is, cereal for breakfast, a protein drink for lunch and usually pickups and a piece of bread for dinner + a small snack in the afternoon.

Let me know if this is OK for building muscle and fast! I would like to get all buffed before Christmas vacation ( 2 months ) is that enough time if I really stick with it?

OH, I also drink around 100+ Ounces of water every day! So I know my body is functioning decently :D

If you go into your gym, and ask them for a routine or something, I'm sure they would write you one up for free which incorporates use of all their machines.
