I have a question for you guys. I just got back from the gym and I decided I am not satisfied with the exercise I am doing for my obliques. I tried increasing the weight today, and still didn't like how it felt. I don't know the name of the exercise I am doing, but I'm looking for something else. :p

What do you guys do to work your obliques?

For the most part I dont' work them!

Picking up the 100 pound db's, 400+ on the bar for shrugs, etc will work the core pretty well on it's own.

I however do the following as part of my leg/lower back day ;)

easy - Farmer walk, hold one weight plate with each hand, heavy enough for you to walk at least 400 meter without dropping the plate. swing you hand a little bit when you walk

medium - hold a heavy bag and walk 400 meter

hard - hold a sand bag and run 400 meter

finish the 400 meter as fast as you can, rest until you can start walking again.

if there is no heavy bag/sandbag in you gym, do burpee with you hand on a wobble board.

if you can't find a wobble board either, do plank. raise one leg/ one hand or opposite hand/leg. Ask someone to put a weight plate on your back if it is too easy for you

your core will scream next day;)

Why on earth was you drinking it before!!!!!?!?!?!???

It's far more effective to take it after training, and eat asap after training.

Many drink it before, protein so your body feeds off of it 'bcaas' especially, instead of your muscle. Many drink a bcaa drink during, such as xtend.

Plasmajet is $80!! Way to expensive for a NO Product.

Any one tried MN X-Factor? Looking over that right now.

I take amino's during my workout, protein for after. I don't see the point in taking a bcaa drink after when you're already drinking protein which has bcaa's

Nope, I don't go after hype products ;)

Lol, fair enough Plasma is a huge hype. But X-factor has and science behind it, and is known to work.

    Plasmajet....lol.

I stick to the good ole basics of creatine, multi-vitamin, protein powder, diet and nutrition. No supplement will ever beat the wonders of diet and nutrition. :]

I'm 18 and just trying to convert some bady fat into muscle atm, lift 30kg military and do a few other things.

Has anyone ever used those electric muscle toners? I know someone that uses on but havent ever heard any real proof that they work?

    Don't waste your money.

The ones at the hospital work for accident victims, people with pretty much no muscle to begin with. They however are much more powerful, used by professionals, and only a building block to get muscle started.
