Congrats Bob on #1000 and becoming a blademaster....

 

Thank you. Now if I just knew what a Blademaster was I'd be all set. I have a small Buck pocket knife they won't let me take on airplanes anymore. Does that count?

Damm Bob, now I know why you have been trying to protect the forum from me since day 1.

I have it all figured out now, my -62 reputation, I looked at it today and someone slammed me for making a comment on the Russian Mafia attacking servers to commit crimes (the guy commented that the article said nothing about the Russian Mafia) claiming I gave a false summary of the article. It was a true fact but the smear campain goes on, come on folks.

Having Bob cut me up is enough, you guys do not have to pile on after every comment I make. Bob and Shawn will protect you all from me, don't worry my rep. is so low that you guys could never pull me up from the depths of demonic depression.

But Congrats Bob, you got the gang off to a good start and they buried me.

To hell with that knife Bob, please put your old picture back up, that smirk on your face as you give cutting commentary is the greatest image ever.

You just can not imagine how intimidating it is for a young buck to see you coming back at him like that, so put it back up after your little party is over, that little blade can not compete with the image of your face sort of laughing at us.

The photo is so good I can't tell if you are laughing at me, smirking at me, thinking that I am a fool, getting back at me, making fun of me, happy with me, pissed off at me or simply plotting to get me banned.

So you have the ultimate cover all bases image in that photo, could you incorporate your old image with a new one somehow?

Maybe we could have a contest to come up with something that we can all be happy with.

But the new image must include your mug somehow, the forum just will never be the same without that photo, so someone please come up with something to solve this problem.

My idea is sort of a skull (Bob's photo) and bones (knives) mixture image.

Maybe even Bob's Photo with Bob looking like a pirate, who knows, we just need to hold a Compar new image contest, but it MUST include that old photo somehow.

Actually the hypenated domain name quote was a joke. I like hypenated domain names. I was just sucking up to Vicious Summer.

My problem with animated gif is that I find them a terrible distraction. If they are flashing and jumping around in my field of vision I have trouble concentrating on, and reading, the text on the page.

One of the moderators in another forum used a particularly distracting one and I use to have to scroll right past his posts without reading them it bothered me so much. In fact a lot of people on that forum though they were cool. That is one of the reasons I don't spend much time on that forum anymore.

But other than that I like children, good looking woman 18 years and older, most animals, sushi and fast cars. Did I mention good looking woman?

 

Yeah I don't like those either Bob, flashing lights are for signs, just put up your old picture again, it was the best!

 

So ... any hints Shawn on what the NEXT level is after blademaster ... and how many posts (2,000?) one needs to attain it?!? ;-)
