Ok... So this is attempt #2 of selling this site (Site was too young the first time).

The urls to the site for sale is www.boardingscene.com which also includes its sub site videos.boardingscene.com which both are pr4's with many pr1-3 pages.

The site is based off of the v-bulletin forum system, and the winner bidder (If any) will recieve the license which has about 8 months left on it.

The past week, stats and registrations have been at an all time high, and the site is now averaging about 6 new members a day.

Here is a shot of the traffic stats for this week...

    View attachment 2946

It has many modifictions done to the site, which you will just have to see for yourself. The site is currently running adsense, however I tried not to overload the users with ads, so it would be very easy to triple the current earnings. The past few days I have averaged at a bit over $3 a day.

THIS SITE ALSO HAS THE NEWEST VERSION ON VBSEO INSTALLED, WHICH WILL BE INCLUDED! ($150 for vbseo license alone)
You can see vbseo in action by looking at things such as the forums url such as the news section... www.boardingscene.com/news

Boarding scene has a automated sitemap system that is connected to google and runs every day, along with RSS feeds that add about 5 news threads a day for members.

I am looking for bids in the $x,xxx range, since this site has ENOURMOUS potential.

It pretty much runs itself now that I have found a dedicated staff.

The site is running on a dedicated server which costs $35 a month.

    Thanks!

I forgot to mention that this also comes with my myspace profile with the site and the coop account.

This profile has about 850 friends, and brings tons of people to the site.

I have about 2000 coop for this site, that will be included with the site.

$x,xxx range // (how about 20% down and the rest on some type of payment or 'phase-you-out' revenue share)?

dedicated server which costs $35 a month // Pentium 1 with a 5 gig hard drive??? (just kidding, but this looks like a typo for $35/ month) :)

I am not really looking for any revenue shares... if I wanted that I would jsut keep the site :). I need money for a car...

As for the server... it is a virtual dedicated. And if you dont believe the price you can check for yourself at godaddy.com

I get 10gb storage and 500gb bandwidth every month. It runs on red hat linux...

Oh yeah... and todays stats are not at 2.75k hits, and 400 uniques. There still are 5 people active on the site now, so it will keep going up till the stats start for tommorow in 2 hours.

I am setting the BIN at $2650 or best offer in the $x,xxx range.

This price is reasonable to me considering the $600 in software, designs, mods, and custom work that is included. Not to mention the $175+ a month it is making right now with adsense and link sales.

Current high bid is $775 by Pm

    THANKS!

    :) :) :)

Yes... I think godaddy can set you up with it without giving you access to the rest of my purchases.

    Good question...

    High bid is still $775

When you tried to sell it before you had said:
"The videos section is on a friends server, and all you have to do is leave his ad on the section."

Is that still true? What if I want to host the videos directly on the boardingscene.com hosting account?

Assuming I can get the videos hosted on the same account (or I can host them on one of my existing dedicated servers if putting them on godaddy is a problem), I will bid $900.

This is still true. You can see the page at videos.boardingscene.com.

Personally I would just leave it as it is, considering you would probably run out of bandwidth in like 2 weeks there are so many videos and views.

If you wanted to put it on the server anyways, you would have to upgrade it without doubt to a very expensive server. Not to mention you would have to pay my friend a fee for his script.

I would just suggest letting it run on his server. It is only one as that even blens in with the site.

I have 60 dedicated Linux servers, so bandwidth is not a problem for me. I can run videos.boardingscene.com from my own server, that is fine, but I would just need access to whatever account they are on now, so I can copy them to my server. I don't want them to be on somebody else's account which I have no control over.

Why would I need to pay your friend for the script? Can't I just integrate the videos directly into boardingscene.com but load the video files from one of my other servers?

Because it is HIS script, not mine. It is my site/domain for the video section however. I own the video section, and he owns the script. He is just letting me use his script + his videos + his bandwidth to help with the site.

I still have my own adsense ads and such on it making money every day, and I have access to a complete control panel for it where I can even do such things as changes the video sites html template or css.

What I don't understand is that if the script that runs boardingscene.com can have photos at http://www.boardingscene.com/photoplog/ why can't it be used to have videos?

How much would your friend sell videos.boardingscene.com for (I would move it to my own server)?

To clarify, I would want to own a copy of the script and the videos. It would be ok for your friend to also have them and even sell them, but before I buy boardingscene.com I would need to the videos and script to be fully part of the site.

I can ask him, but I am not even sure what he will say.

Are you even able to meet my price range?

I really odnt plan on letting this go for under Anything less than $1,850... and my bin is $2650
