Well I am hosted with hostmonster and I guess bluehost and hostmonster are the same company. According to me they are one of the best ones and I have been hosted with them for years now. I also have seen a lot of popular high traffic sites hosted with bluehost. So if you are looking to go for shared hosting then go for bluehost/hostmonster.
They have good support, but they will suspend your account once you spend over 50gb bandwidth ( at list they did me. )
The only thing I hate about Bluehost is Bill. Yeah, that stupid Bill! He is one of support staff there. I chat with him when I got problem once, he was lazy, didn't help me at all and the worst, he left me without saying anything.
never been hosted with them, but don't like their site which makes me think that they are overselling and that are really bad. i wouldn't go with them.
A big NO NO from me when bluehost's name comes. I have already suffered because of them. That is why I switched over to hostgator.
