I am buying hosting for a website of mine and I am trying to decide between these 2 hosts. Which of them do you think is better?

Bluehost. I've used it for years and never had a problem.

Well, what exactly are you building the website for? I think they are both quality shared hosts, but they each have specific terms about content types, resources, reselling, etc...

If you're more specific about your websites' intended goals and methods, I might be able to give you a more specific answer about which one is better for you.

I think hostgator used to be better but now too many people use them. I would personally pick bluehost over hostgator.

I would recommend HostGator. I've used them before, and the support was great. My account was activated within 10 minutes and they replied to support tickets promptly.

If you need to host adult sites, you should choose Hostgator, but if you only need to host normal sites, you can choose Bluehost, both have very good support team :)

I would say.. go for HostGator. I'm using them for more than a year and had no problems. They offer cheap plans, good support and reliable servers.

Bot are big web hosting companies. Assuming that bluehost has hostpapa and hostmonster they are the same by size.
I'd rather try to get some trial account from them.

Hostmonster/Bluehost offers one size fits all hosting. What they don't tell you is that if your site starts really going good, they will shut you down without warning for using too many resources.

Hostgator offers different size plans so you can start small and upgrade as needed.
