    Hello,
I have a problem with my computer with the last few days,
when my computer loads with the " welcome screen of ms windows "
after this, the blue screen appears and its code is Stopx000000F4

I want to know what causes this problem
I have kingstone 2 gb rams, nvidia geforce graphic card
and giga-byte matherboard and the processor cooling is okay because I bought a new fan ..

    Thanks in advance

Assuming you have two 1GB RAM modules installed, remove one of them and then start the machine. See if you continue to get that error. Try it with the other module too. Maybe the RAM sticks are the problem, or probably memory slots on the motherboard might have developed a snag.

Other things you can try are upgrading your bios, reinstalling Windows or running memtest86 - http://www.memtest86.com/download.html

thanks Radz fro help, I'll try to figure out it.

thanks gauharjk, but I am sorry, I have only 1 chip ram " 2GB " , the screen only disappear for some time when I try to put the ram on the other slot, then it works for some time, then appears again, then I do the process again.
Any information available on how to upgrade my BIOS ?!

This error can be caused by any number of things. It should give you a short description, sentence or a small paragraph after the error code explaining why the error is occuring. You should take a look at the screen again to see if there is any more information provided.

I did a quick Google search and saw that anything from spyware programs such as CounterSpy, your CMOS battery being low or dead, to a bad memory stick could cause the problem.

See if there is anymore info provided after the error code and do a google search on the error code and some of what it says after and you should find a solution.

I've even seen bad drivers that could cause the problem so you just never know....

Try to change your ram but if no change try to reinstall your OS or may be format.

blue screen??? thats means your system error (conflict driver, not compatible)try to search another driver...worse think your hardisk not your ram...if your ram error the cpu can't be start(can't booting for first start)

    its not hardware error..

its is when ur Pc shut downs when the light goes off ( improper shut down)

If u have another HDD .. install windows OS and the HDD which is giving error make it in to a USB by ( USB Casing ) and copy all your C: drive data or Desktop data

Try using the repair option on the CD you got with the computer (if you got one). I had a computer doing the same thing and fixed it last night by using the repair option. I'm pretty sure your problem is either from viruses or corrupt OS files, and using the CD will either fix the problem or let you know that it is indeed a virus infection.
