It is NOT about the money, it is about following GREEN SEO best practices to protect the internet environment. I firmly believe that protecting the environment begins with the mindset and values of each person. Bloggers, in particular, should start with themselves and follow these GREEN SEO best practices suggestion:

    1. Don't Pollute the Internet with crappy and spamy sites.
    2. Follow the Google Terms of Service.
    3. Don't sell the soul of your blog for a link to spammy sites.
    4. Buy only licensed product and Don't violate Copyright.
    5. Be honest about your identity.

What have ANY of these issues got to do with the environment? - the same amount of electricity is used to make, use or look at a spam site or the one for your favourite charity. The Google terms of service don't help the environment - no more carbon is emitted by buying a link than for asking for one. Copyright is not an environmenatl issue, and neither is dishonesty.

I'm very familair with the Blue hat SEO website, but that's a brand name. There's no such phrase in use.
It's white, black, or grey hat.

But the way Google's going, it'll soon be tin hat ;)

I've never heard of blue and green hat seo. The only ones I know of are gray hat, black hat, and white hat.
