    I really wonder if Microsoft's stubbornness in HD DVD is a good idea. They seem to be so resistant to accepting change or their own failure.

    Microsoft doesnt give up lol
    They will fight till the death .. which will never happen .

    I personally dont like blue ray because 1 scratch and the disk is done

    I think this is where Sony will win in the console race, but I have to admit even being a PlayStation fan, MS have really gone for it on this one, and I hope this doesn't cripple their business in the gaming industry. Thanks for the quality source :).

    although it seems likely MS will lose the race to the living room

    It won't cripple their business. Being a PS fan myself i must say, MS is too strong with the XBOX. It won't be crippled with a deal like this.

    Their gaming business may be crippled, that's what I meant not the business. If Blu-Ray is now going to become the standard this will make a big impact, trust me.
