Blospot blog removed from index?

    Hi,

I've started a blogspot blog which got indexed by Google a few weeks ago and now it seems to have been removed from the index!

I have NO outlinks on the blog at all - so it cant be for selling links, it is not keyword stuffed, has no illegal content etc.

The blog is "live" (not banned by blogspot) so I'm a bit confused. The blog is of a football/soccer theme. Any ideas?

It's not unusual for new sites to disappear completely from the index for a day or two. Just keep working on your blog. I'm sure it will return soon.

If it is new, this is normal. Just keep adding good, quality content and keep getting backlinks - then you will be fine. :)

I guess for a new blog owner or a new site owner, seeing that the index is gone really does hurt.

    Hi,
Have you joined Google Webmasters? That's a great way to keep up with what Google is doing, and they do respond to emails, etc. (though it takes a while). Also, if you sign up with Google Webmaster you can use your blogspot feed for a sitemap. That helps with indexing as well.

I'm sure your blog will be back in no time at all.

Google has datacenters spread across the world & rather than have every single one of those datacenters crawl your website Google has the datacenter closest to your site crawl it and then it passes information about your site/pages to other datacenters. This is called "Replication" & it's completely natural to have a time where your search query hits a datacenter that hasn't received information about your site/pages with new sites & new pages on sites.

This process takes time. To get an idea of how much information Google has to sift through, go into your back yard with a cup & scoop up a cupfull of dirt or sand. Now dump that load onto a table and sort every grain of sand into piles by size. Now imagine that after sorting by size, you then had to sort them by hundereds of other factors.

No need to worry..it just happens to some sites...Just submit a sitemap to Google Webmaster tools and your site will be indexed again in a couple of days.

try to submit your content to social bookmarking sites like digg and stumble. :D That will be the fastest way for your blog to get indexed quickly. Your dilemma is normal for blogs that are new!

Did u change your template or layout of your blogspot blog? sometimes with changing templates that particular blog would get de-indexed for some days but eventually will return back to normal after some days.!

You should just forum on adding regular content on your blog and in the next few days you will see our blog indexed again if its not banned. This is the problem faced by newly created blogs. So you should not worry about anything if you have a genuine blog
