BLOOP Filter?

    Hi,

Does anyone else agree there is a such thing as a "BLOOP Filter (back link over optimise filter)"?

So in essence when you get too many links quickly it will flag a filter? I think so for new sites (sandboxed quicker) but not sure this filter is valid after say 12 months... Anyone agree \ disagree?

Does Google still sandbox sites? I have launched 2 sites in the last 12 months and neither of them have been sandboxed. I do think you should build your back links steadily though for new sites. There are so many dos and donts as far as Google is concerned its hard to know what to do.

according to matt cutts (googe employee) blog google does still use the sandbox but i also have launched 3 websites in the last 2 months and all of them where crawled, indexed, and ranking within the first month and that includes some of the most competative keywords for my sites niche.

From what I have been reading and seeing is that google may be evalulating your site's link growth compared to other's in your niche / sector. If there is an usual spike, it may trigger a penalty.

For whatever reason, these types of penalties / filters do not appear to affect aged domains.

What would you class an "aged" domain to be?

There is a theory that anything prior to the beginning of 2003 is "aged". But I think that there are other factors including having lots of links from trusted sites that may mitigate link penalties.

I been SBed on many new sites. Places withing top ten for a few days to a week to be buried for the next 3-12 months depending on the keyword/phrase. I don't think its about aquiring links too quick as I tend to get links after a site launches so it may be the lack of links and the serps are just a teaser of sort to let you know where the average site would be if all is right.

I haven't noticed the sandbox for the last 3 sites that I have started to work with in the last 5 months-- these sites were brand new and they are totally indexed.

For the BLOOP filter, I have heard that too but if BLOOP filter was 100% full proof, then Google Bombing would not have been effective..Google bombing still works..

i have 1 site with G's sandbox, just because the site have very competitive keywords.
in first 2 mo google indexed >3000 pages from my site and in the 3rd mo, they gone form G. And back to the normal after 3 mo later
