Blood Diamond!!

I remember the TIA part, but I don't remember about the "long sleeve" or "short sleeve" part. What was that?

 

When they were cutting off their arms, they asked if the wanted long sleeve or short sleeve...

i like that movie very very inerjatic........he came from too far but when the diamond is in his hand he cannot cash it that is a life.

This is so true we have all known about this for years and it had to take a movie t show the truth maybe now those rich overseas people will think twice about buying diamonds and first question where they are from!!!!!!

 

I thought this movie was fantastic, I watched it ages ago and kept thinking about for months afterwards, brilliant film very touching!

This was definitely a great movie... I had no clue about this blood diamond industry before. It was a shocker for me... very sad reality.

 

I haven't seen it my friends said it was good and am convince to watch it

 

Loved this flick, I regret not seeing it on the big screen but I managed to catch it on HBO and ended up watching it a few times.

 

The movie gives a Idea

Never buy a Diamond which comes from a conflict area

 

Problem is that you can never tell. The supplier could have lied about it's origin.

 

That movie was amazing,but its not the best african movie,hotel rwanda tops it.

 

My question is how triue is the movie. If people are getting killed over the diamonds then shouldn't diamonds be worth more?

 

It's all based on fact. There are tons of civil wars being fought in Africa right now. How do you think they finance those wars? Diamonds, Oil etc. Africa is probably the richest continent in natural resources, but the people stay poor because it benefits the rich to keep them so.
