Well, I think i should apologize in advance for posting this boring question,
    Here is the thing ..
-as u all know i got one blog and it is a blogspot blog,
    - i've been thinking to transfer the blogspot into a custom domain
(lots of traffic come with 'myniches blogspot')

my question: is it a good decision to transfer it to a custom domain?
(the risk is high coz if it doesn't work i lost the only blog that i have for now, to be safe i dun want to say how much i earn but i think you can guest - i got 300k pageviews/month)

Search on digital forum for the topic - Redirect from BlogSpot to Website. You'll get the answer[h=1][/h]

I don't think you will loose traffic, it will bring more traffic. Compared to the blogspot domain.

Thanks for the reply guys, I think I'm going with the safe route for now, since i started a new blog last year and now it almost reach $100/month (i know it quite slow), i think i just wait for this new blog to give me a good passive income before transfer the other blog to a custom domain, btw thanks for replying XD

I would use a redirect link. This way you would still have those people who know your blog be safely redirected to your site.

It's an automatic redirect. You shouldn't lose any traffic or visitors' interest. Just put this between <head></head> of your blog: <meta content='0; url=http://your_new_site.com' http-equiv='REFRESH'/>

if you want to buy the domain name form Blogger then its totally OK but if you want to shift form Blogger to others like Wordpress or any other company then it might create a problem.
cause i have read both type of posts regarding this. some said they lost their visitors and some said that after several weeks it was totally OK. so its totally up to you. my suggestion is not to shift your domain. as you get a good amount with good visitors so you don't use any kind of black hat right? so you don't have any kind of risk.! just enjoy it :)

Yes, you will lose traffic in the beginning, but you can regain it later if you do it the right way. I suggest you stick with your blogspot site. Just download the backup of your blog. Blogger Team has the habit of deleting blogs that have a lot of traffic.

digital webman06: what i afraid the most like bohol said "Blogger Team has the habit of deleting blogs that have a lot of traffic" that's what made me worried a lot, since i have total of 1200 posts in it. I already made backup in case they delete my blog. The reason i want a custom domain is, if my cpc increase from 0.04 on average to 0.10 my monthly income will be 4 figure. Coz i read some forum/blog said that advertiser didn't bid high or didn't prefer blogspot. (john chow also mention this in his ebook).

maybe i just afraid the risk to start over to gain traffic, so i agree with both of u, just stick wif it,
come to think again many blogspot bloggers struggle to get $1/day and i got around $20 for only one blogspot, maybe I'm just too greedy, thanks =)

p/s: btw sorry for my english, XD

proper redirection from blogspot to main domain will be the safe way to retain the traffic for some time
