Lacks all the cool plugins of wordpress but google owns blogspot and ranks it well. You can use your own domain name now too. I think for promotion and commercial blogging its good to have both WP and Blogger.
If you have blogspot (blogger) blog, just make sure that you create file backups regularly because sometimes, they will just delete your blog and that's it! One of the best things that ever happened to blogging is Wordpress! YOu can use wordpress as a blog and also as CMS.

Its actually NOT SUCK. Its a starter for new blogger who cant afford a domain or host! Its even good enough for experienced bloggers. I cant find any reason for it sucks, its all FREE oh..... thats why its sucks... its FREE thats why you are against it? anyways, but i do like Wodpress alot more.
If somebody's blog get's deleted then it's not accidental. There must be some reason behind it. You can use a custom domain with blogger, if you don't prefer the sub-domain address. I love blogger platform.
I've used both Wordpress blogs and blogspot. blogspot is really easy to setup but having your own control on your own domain/ sub-domain wins out in the end.
Templates can be customized as much as possible....use a free one, then customize it. I am slowly learning this process on my own blog.
i just recently signup for blogspot so have no idea. maybe due to subdomain. But if u don't have money for domain and hosting then its best option for use adsense
I have made quite a bit of money with Blogger blogs. Is it as good as owning your own wordpress blog? No! However, it is free and a great way to build links for your other blogs. As long as you do not apply content that is against their rules, they are permanent links.
