.blogspot links given no weighting by google?

Has anyone heard that google gives no weighting to eblogger links(url's that end with .blogspot.com)

Aparently because google owns eblogger

Can anyone verify this

No, I am not agree with you. It works good with me. Infact I think google gives more weight to blogspot links.

 

I use blogspot and google seems to like it.

 

Google likes every blogspot subdomain I have seen, except for a few arab/asian ones that I cannot read, they dont seem to give me any credit. Any english ones always do.

 

I was just wondering about the very same question the other day .. anyone else got any other opinions?

There is no way of knowing what has or hasn't any weighting. I would suspect getting alink on a good blogger blog will count fo as much as link on a word press blog. I don't see why it shgould be nay different.

 

I think they are weighted well, and it would be in Google's interest to keep it that way.

 

Google gives me backlinks from .blogspot all the time. I would suppose they give these weight being they are listed backlinks.

 

I don't think this is true. Few blogspot still gives a decent vote for SERP purpose. It really depends on the blog.

 

If they use the nofollow tag then they won't be given any weight, I'm not sure if that tag is now standard on blogspot though.

 

I get very good credits from some random blogs that link back to me....

 

My antiques related blogspot blog has been treated pretty nicely by Google from the start.

 

I've setup some related blogspot's with some articles related to my main websites niche's, so hopefully ill soon see if it has any effect atall...
