Blogspot/HubPage/Squidoo or Article Directories?

I have my writer working on rewriting 40 articles for me that have already been published on my site.

    Niche: Pets

    So here is my question:

What should I do with these articles?

    My thoughts:

There are a lot of pet lovers on Blogger and it would be pretty easy for me to get incoming links to a blogspot.com website due to the community. I could post all my articles with keywords linking back to my main site, while still getting back links to my blogspot.com website.

    Your thoughts?

    Thanks!

Ooh, this seems like a good thread. I also have a pet niche site. Interested to see what responses you receive

Do not try to post links at hubpages. You are only allowed 2 or 3 links, and that includes an RSS feed. If you insert several links, the hubpage will be flagged, removed from public view and your account will receive a warning. After you make the changes and resubmit the page, it could take DAYS before its reviewed again.

I know this about hubpages because it happened to me. About 15 - 20 minutes after I published my first page, it was flagged and removed. While I was still editing it!!!! The page had one too many links. I made the changes and resubmitted for consideration. About 5 - 7 days later the page was reviewed and made public.

If you want links, go with blogger (blogspot and blogger = same thing). You can post as many links as you want - just insert them into the sidebar. Every post you make the sidebar links will be visible. And, google loves blogger. You can make a post and within minutes its going to be indexed.

Squidoo = ok. But I doubt your going to get a lot of traffic from it.

I dont use article directories, so I can not offer an opinion there.

Go with blogger. You get more flexibility to alter the content, links etc. as you are in complete control.

The biggest thing I see with blogger is the ability to connect with other webmasters with similiar interest easily. You recieve a lot better chance of getting a link back.

I could care less how much traffic I get to the blogspot, but I want to pass on some JUICE to my regualr site.

So my thoughts are add a sitewide link.. and 2-3 links per post targeting my keywords and then try to get as many backlinks to my blogspot site as possible. Resulting in more good blacklinks to my main site.

You should to create some blogspot pages, article dir sub, squidoo page, etc.

These are some basic seo promotion to get your site rank and receive traffic.

what i would suggest is that you use the articles on several web2.0 properties (squidoo-hubpages-ezine-weebly-wetpaint-blogger) and many more... create backlinks to each other and your site :) it is good for SERPS
