Hi, I expect this is a dumb question, but here it goes. I am starting a blog database where people can submit there blogs, and I will take a screen capture of there site, and list it under a category. I hope this will both benefit the site, and the people listed (as the site grow in size, and rank for example), but it seems a little pointless if Blogspot accounts have do not follow by default. Does anyone know. Thanks
You are completely right Mixke, I havent use Blogspot for ages, but I think that you can remove nofollow using the following: 1) Backup your content (for you own peace of mind) 2) At your dashboard click on the Layout Link. If you are already managing your blog, then click on the Template Tab. 3)Edit Html Sub-tab for Templates. 4) On the upper right of the template edit area, there is a checkbox labeled Expand Widgets. Make sure it is checked. 5) Search for nofollow in your expanded template. 6) Delete the tag ( rel='nofollow' ) and seve your template/ Finished. Im pretty sure that's how it goes. Cheers Lucio
generally blogspot and wordpress blogs are no follow by default, but there are lots of plugins available for wordpress blogs, which can convert a nofollow blog to dofollow blog.. Thanks....
It doesn't sound like a bad idea. Just try it and see what happens. If it's a good idea, people will link to it anyhow.
I think it's a great idea to make the blog do follow as this will make your members contribute a bit more.
