Very recently i started blogging on blogger.com My questions are : Can i implement other advertising programs except adsense? Doesa lot of content updates gets a higher page rank or linking to a lot of directories the only way to get a higher page rank ? If i use a lot of rss updates does it increase my chances of getting a higher pagerank? For as popular a keyword as say "love life" what is the other options to increase my traffic other than linking to other website/blogs and getting a higher page rank ? Generally speaking considering your own experiences... Entertainment IT or News blogs are more popular for starters.. and finally... considering the fact that google implementing its CPA is it a wise decision to emphasize on a blog from the scratch as now? ( i know all these are already posted in the forum but all i got is bits and scratches so far...so i started this thread for a compiled answer)
of course u can implement other advertising programs likes adbrite, yahoo ads etc on blogger. if you have good content people would link to ur site so indirectly also it will increase ur page rank. and search engines likes blogs more then sites for this one reason that they are updated regularly. do some seo on ur site for ur keyword though "love life" seems to very quite competitive keyword. get links on other sites with this keyword as anchor text and link to similar sites too. entertainment, it and news blogs all are very competitive and unless u are focusing on some specific niche topic it will be difficult to get traffic for first few months. i am afraid i don't understand ur last question properly. good luck with ur blog
Thanx so much for the answers. the last question was there is a recent news that google is going to introduce itz Cost Per Action scheme which is still in a beta phase.The critics been saying itll drive a lot of Cost Per Click advertisers, who are inevitably attacked from around 14.1 % average of click frauds.
