Blogs?

    Several times I read here that people use blogs to get traffic.. can anyone point me to some articles about that?

    I have had traffic increase by posting in directories like Blogwise, Blog Catalog, Feedster.

    Google is one of the best for listing blogs for traffic, MSN Search too, Yahoo doesn't list any of my actual blog pages but does list the directories mentioned above.
