Well in the past i have made alot of websites mainly Arcades,Proxies,Free Hosts.

But now i want to run my own blog got a few idea's on genres but nothing serious yet.The question is what is the best way to get visitors to it SEO buy links or what,as Arcade and Proxies can be submited to lists i have never realy done alot of promoting in the past.

Any help would be great.

I think you should think of your blog topic first.Something in demand and people would want to read everyday.The purpose is to get followers continuously.

 

Depends on the topic of the blog... Anyway you can start off by submitting your blog to blog directories... there are 100s of them around.
You can also write some articles and submit them to ezine.
Ping the articles and ping your blog every time you update fresh content. You can use pingler, pingomatic or pingoat for this

yea... Just choose a topic and start blogging. The only key points to note in blogging are:

1. Content should be unique
2. Blogging must be regular
3. Proper keywords, title and description should be there.
4. Submit your posts in social bookmarking for quick indexing.
5. Work on backlinks.

This way you can get huge traffic and the blog could be optimized.

3. Keep posting 3-4 times a week (200+ words)

You might consider joining Seekopia.com - It's a social network for bloggers which allows you to meet other bloggers while you're creating your own blog. From what I've read about you, it would provide mainly 3 advantages to you:

- Other bloggers can also choose to follow your blog which means you will become one of their favourites.
- You can comment on other posts to encourage them to take a look at your blog.
- Seekopia is also an online magazine so your approved posts will appear on the Seekopia homepage instantly and will be viewable by people without actually visiting your blog directly.

With that aside, I would recommend you social bookmark your blog as I have found it provides a lot of traffic. You can also consider Directory Marketing, though it seems these are less effective nowadays.

One other idea is to ask other bloggers in a similar niche to write a review about your blog. In exchange you can write one about theirs
