I've found banners dont have much success. Blogging about affiliate products works tho.

Yeah unless you have absolutely insane (and dumb) traffic, then banners are a waste of time. Best thing to do, is blog about a product, and add a discrete CJ link in your article.

Really? I have discussed several affiliate products within posts and never had any sales.

    Q...

    I think it depends...

For example I made on Saturday night about £ XXX (mid)

from one banner alone promoting the Hatton v Mayweather fight.

If people want it..they will click anything;)

I use banners when I'm writing about a topic that has merchandise to suit it.

I also write a few articles based around certain products. I do in a clever manner too, I might add.

Definitely. Blogs are technically considered sites too.

The best thing you can do is review products or write articles and "soft-sell" products within the articles. You definitely don't want to just plaster a bunch of banners up there and call it a day.

    Good Luck,

Of course it is. :) Just type something up that is convincing yet, doesn't make it blatant that it's an affiliate link. Dating seems to work well with CJ. And same with hosting.
