I will not discourage you but adsense is one night game buddy . I have blog on blogspot and earning $5-$9 daily but i am working hard and m,ay be in few month my earning get doubled .
You can easily get clicks if you focus on 2 things: 1) Build QUALITY content and promote it to a highly targeted audience. 2) Build SIMPLE content and promote it to a mass audience. In my own experience no 2 had produced up to 13% CTR, higher than any other method. Hope that helps..
As suggested by other, what you (and the rest of us) need is more traffic, many people have been successful with blogs
Don't expect to earn big everyday, it takes time! For example I have a site which I created in 2003 and it still isn't doing as well as I had hoped. Just keep at it, read these forums and be patient. If you do those things the $$$$ will come in.
You have to do some SEO in order to get traffic. Without traffic you can not make any money with adsense. And if possible, I suggest you buy your own domain. Then add lot of content in it. And build some relevant backlinks. Try to improve your SERPs.
i dont think .com or .blogspot.com make any difference. I have a blogspot.com blogs that make more money with adsense than my .coms
I don't think it makes a difference for adsense, but I do think it makes a difference for your readers. People don't take free domains as seriously IMO.
