Blogs suck for Adsense?

I made a blog a few weeks ago (http://ggamesgalore.blogspot.com) and I put adsense ads on it. I reviewed about 15 games, (Wii, and XBOX 360), I have about 1-2 page views on my site daily, and 0 clicks. Would I do better if I took this blog and "pasted" it on a .com domain? So, it would be something like http://www.ggamesgalore.com. Would that get me more page views+clicks? Thanks guys.

BTW: I didnt want to make 2 topics, in 2 sections, but uhh, any suggestions on how to get people to comment on your blog/get traffic?

honestly, my 5 blogs are into .blogspot domain but i earned $300 already (and waiting for my 4th payment). take some patience and still do your link building thing. it's not always in domain, it's about content and traffic of your blog as well

    1. Most people around here consider a click ratio of 2-5% normal. Getting 1-2 pageviews a day will take a while to produce a click (since 1 pageview and 1 click would be a click ratio of 100%). You'll get traffic as time goes on and you build your content. There are no easy shortcuts to take there.
    2. don't worry about blog comments, returning visitors don't click on ads.

Eh, i guess your right. How long would you THINK I have to wait before I start getting more page views? Say, 10 page views a day?

depend on how hard you promte your blog and how good your content is, just don't expect to get rich anytime soon, specially when your blog is only a few weeks old, no way.

I started my Volt blog about 4 weeks ago and I have furiously linked to it in signatures here and other places (GM forums etc). So far I am getting about 10 pageviews a day, most of them coming from people that click on my signature link. I'm lucky with one though, most people on that forum are interested in the Volt. It'll take a while before I start seeing some clicks though. You get the best click rates from people that find your site through search engine results pages.

My advice would be to find some gamers forums and put links in your signature to your blog. That'll help a bit in the beginning, it'll also help pagerank.

You can't expect a 50-100% CTR. You need to figure out how to get traffic to your site, then worry about how much money you're making.

You'd definitely do well to put it on a .com domain if you can swing it, but for the kind of site you're running I don't think it's a requirement.

Start marketing your blog. Particularly focus on gamer forums and comment on other gamer blogs. That way you'll get targeted readers who are likely to stick around.

I know it sounds like stupid common sense, but it's what works. You want traffic that's interested in what you're trying to offer. You could of course try to make the front page of digg/reddit/propeller but I doubt you're blog would make it unless you're able to game their system.

Relevant traffic is nothing but targeted. The traffic from search engines and article directories (like ezine etc.) are considered as targeted which can be easily monetized whereas the one from social bookmarking site are considered as crap...

Blogs are great for CTR, you just need to optimize your placements and get some quality traffic flowing in to your site.

Social Bookmarking traffic may not be "crap," but they're not going to click on ads. But to get the search traffic you need to get people to link, that's more of what you're targeting with social bookmarking. Of course it's a waste of time unless you have some unique content.

You need to keep patience and just try to get backlinks, try to write unique content for your site, directory submission, onpage, offpage optimization, forum posting at game related sites etc.. will help you to get good traffic and thus some clicks ;)

    All the Best....

Digg and stumble all the articles. Maybe do a video review of a popular recent game and post on youtube with website link.
