Hi, I am just going to start SEO on My Blog..

I know some methods that to be used for SEO on Blog:

1)Meta Tags
2)Updated Content
3)Blogs Directory Submission
4) Social Marketing

As per my knowledge These will be helpful to achieve the Traffic on Blog, Can anybody plz provide me some more info so that can be used to achieve fast traffic and rankings ....

any fast rankings will be temp. you need to spend along time and alot effort to get perm high rankings.

 

Or you can submit your blogs to some article sites,and leave your site address.

 

What blogging script are you using? Wordpress has a very good SEO plugin.

- Relevant content
- Quality backlinks

It's pretty simple atually, meta tags are for the most part useless.

 

Well I notice getting free backlinks is a problem, but also buying backlinks also costs problems.

I think so really when they say "Get good quality backlinks" they simply mean, a possible guest post, social bookmarking, or article / directory submissions. Right?

There really isn't anything else . Of course you could hope that someone likes your site and links to you.

 

Fine-tine your on-page SEO like proper header tags
Then submit to Social Networks (Digg and such, helps getting index)
Then Just work on back links

With the help of fresh unique content, this will help you do well

 

You can also create a squidoo lense to build some backlinks and drive some
traffic to your site.

 

Still these answers are not for newbies...tell some thing basic and some process to do that

 

Valid themes also important. and the layout also help a lot. If your CMS is Wordpress, you really have to install All-In-One SEO plugin no matter what

Generally, blog directory submission is not so helpful. Forum link signature and blog commenting (on dofollow blog) is far more valuable. Hope it helps.
