I have just realized that my two old blogs that have lot of traffic have disappeared for given keywords on google search results, and they used to hold first position, on yahoo everything is ok. Is this yet another Google bug because same thing happened couple of months ago, anyone facing the same problem?
Yeah it happened to me in early april on many of my established sites. Some of the keywords still haven't gotten their position back.
it could be the known "google dance"... nobody knows what happens after that... sometimes everything continue like always but sometimes there are small or big changes
If your blogs fall in the search engine positions, then you will need to get more backlinks to them in order to bolster the site's rankings. TomG.
Could be a google penalty, check google webmaster guideline to see if you broke any of their rules, check to see if your can find your blog by typing in the URL. I don't think it's a matter of losing backlinks. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed quickly. Might need to file a reconsideration.
didn't broke any rules, at least I think so, hope it's just a glitch and everything will be back normal because these are mine two most important and oldest blog with lots of organic traffic
latest update - it has happened to five of my blogs, all sites are indexed on google which I checked by typing site:my web address but even if I type the title of my unique article it still doesn't come up with results to my site, so it's no surprise it doesn't work on given keywords, because of this bug I will lost today about 5000 unique visitors, what's happening to google lately?
