I have heard that all blogs have a no follow tag for comments, but I still see people commenting for backlinks. Plus I have tried it myself on a few blogs, and checked iwebtool backlink checker, and they come up as backlinks. Are they helping my SERPS?
It helps if that page of blog has page rank and is same topic and does not use no follow . If they use no follow or you can not make text link with words for site they do not help
ah ok, so it does help some. I haven't experienced much, if any blogs with no follow. I just assumed that all blogs had it on
Avoid the NoFOLLOW ! I made a post a few months ago in my blog showing how you can easily tell what links are follow/no follow with a simple mod of Firefox..
Basically nofollow tag will tell the spider to stop them meaning that we won't crawl further. It was introduced by Google to avoid spam comments. With nofollow, the links inserted won't be considered backlink.
If the blog doesn't use the no-follow then it may help, otherwise it's just good for visitors from that blog.
well..Google will not considering all those links as back links for your site. for google, it is less value with "no follow tag" links.
Hey guys, I think all of you forget about Yahoo and MSN... As I know this search engines follow even nofollow comments in blogs. 35% of search will be not superfluous as for me
