If you run a blog, AND are using site like BlogExplosion to drive traffic to your blog, AND have AdSense ads on your site, make sure that you check the box marked "Ads will be placed on a framed page" on the Google AdSense code page. You may not realize it, but unless your Google code includes that trigger google_page_url = document.location; , then your blog WON'T be showing the correct ads for your site to users of BlogExplosion. And don't worry, this doesn't break anything for normal visitors arriving from search engines, because I've tested it. Everything appears just as it should. You might think your Blog doesn't use frames, but from BlogExplosion's perspective (and sites like it), it sure does. I dread to think how much revenue I lost before I realized this. BLEH! I realized it when I clicked the PREVIEW button on my BlogExplosion profile page which puts my blog in a sample frameset. Since I made the change, the ads are appropriate to Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers movie and endangered animals. As they should be!
