Blogs and RSS feeds on My Yahoo

    I have a site and a blog that points to the site. I added an RSS feed on MY Yahoo for the blog.

    Some say that a site like My Yahoo doesn't get crawled because it is password protected. Is there another way this strategy helps with Yahoo ranking? Or is that baloney?

    It hasn't seemed to make any difference to my sites.

    when you add your blog to My Yahoo, its not for the link or pagerank, its more to make sure that Yahoo is aware of your feed and crawls it.

    adding your feed will get your site indexed in the yahoo search engine faster than submiting your url.
