If you are looking to increase the Adsense revenue of your blog a couple of good links to check out are Google Adsense tips especially the Heat Map Graphic. Another great source of information about blogging is Problogger and the many great topics on these forums. Just browse around for a while and you will learn a wealth of information from other users. Good luck with your blog.
i agree with usedmac about Problogger. I read his site like so many times and tried to do what he is doing albeit on a smaller scale. I try to stay to his methods and as sure as rain in UK, i have seen my earnings increase to $0.90/day. You over there, stop sniggering Jokes aside, what that $0.90 does give me is the belief that i am actually doing something right. Now the hard part is doing it right all the time and on a bigger scale. As bloggers, we cannot simply choose a high paying keyword and run with it. (or can we?) blogs tend to be more personal, about what moves us and all that jazz. We cannot really just suddenly blog about, say Mesothelioma, especially if its not a medical blog we are having.
Actually, that's not true. You can pick a high paying keyword and start blogging about it, but unless you're really interested in it, it won't last long. It also takes a long time to build up a profit from blogs. Just take a look at how long it took problogger's author to go 'pro', for instance. Another good site to check out for pro- blogging tips is performancing.com.
I have never been a fan of blogs. I hardly visit them and I have never set one up. I heard that they were a very good way of receiving some good amounts of traffic, but don't here that anymore.
If you want to make a steady income from blogs, you need to post new fresh content steadily, get trackback links from others, get added to others blogrolls, and stick around a while -- a long while. My blogging income has gone up consistently since I started monetizing in late November. Each and every month's check is bigger than the last and the growth is very steady. I also post regularly and with very original content. If you blog to make money, you'll be dissappointed initially. Too many Blog-For-Adsense sites exist and they're all keyword hunters, but Google has been penalizing these BfA sites lately so the real bloggers are starting to pull forward.
I don`t think adsense earning depend on what you have blog/website. It is depend on how professional content you have and how much unique are these contents. And the last pagerank & visitors.. Am I right?
