Have anyone tried BlogRush

After two days i noticed a few visit from this syndication network.. And your impression?

 

i was sceptical at first. To be fair it brings in perhaps a couple of visitors per day. but maybe that's subjective to my blog and writing. Not bad.

 

I didn't try it yet. I would like to hear more feedback first

By the way you're not allowed to put affiliate links anywhere except in your signature.

 

Its not worth it. I tried it and it gets me 1-2 visitors a day... That I can get from anywhere by doing good link building anyways...

 

I am going to test it for about 4 weeks to give it a good run down. Will then drop it if there isnt much impact.

 

Its a waste of screen real estate. At least everyone who fell for it helped Blogrush.com get in to the Alexa top 500 in 3 days.

 

I tried it. Not worth it.

And ya.. remove that affiliate link before the thread is reported.

How can you tell for sure what hits are coming in via Blogrush?

 

I've tried it and have not seen traffic from it in my logs. I'm wondering if it actually work.

 

I have contacted adsense to ask for them for that and look at what they said to me

 

Do you have any kind of tracking like statcounter? If you do you can view the recent visitor activity and it'll tell you what the referral id is.

 

well it's been on my blog for 10 days now and I've had seven in total from blogrush. I think i'll take it off.

 

It's not designed for the little guy though is it? The idea seems to have been conceived by an internet marketer, well illustrated by that ludicrous 10 level referral system. So far, it seems to be firmly pointed towards enabling the big guys to get bigger. I don't know whether you know of AGLOCO (paid to surf site), but that similarly was all about referrals. If you could refer a lot of people, you'd do well, otherwise it wasn't really worth doing.

Btw, I do think the concept is a good one. Leveraging the traffic exchange concept, and focusing it at relevant blog posts should provide some good targetted traffic, but I don't know if BlogRush is really the answer to it.

It has prompted me to experiment with a few ideas of my own though...

yeah it's a "scheme". that's probably why everyone is pimping this on every forum with their own referal ID. But personally I ain't got time with running my own business so I just stuck it on as a passive experiment - see what happened. The answer is NOTHING - in my case.

 

Due to viral marketing that influenced the search results significantly.

 

blog rush is really not that nice - I am thinking of removing it on my blog - and earn impressions from others. I don't like widgets in the first place

 

blog rush is good actually!
i usually get about 100 visits on this blog! but in the last few days am getting 400+ hits! to prove the fact, check out the top sites ranks, also the shniy counter has a rank of 13! which is not easy to get!
