affiliate links are not allowed in messages here. So better take put them in ur signature before the moderators do it. I came to know about this through one of my posts with aff. links
Every third thread today seems to be about this bloody thing - why o why o why can't people just join in an existing thread.
Well Blogrush is not a revenue generating and advertising program. Its a syndicate of feeds from various blogs. So its Adsense safe!
I think you have a good idea and intention. However, it would be appropriate to check the rules first.
The rush isn't an advertising system. It's sort of a viral linking tool.Stop being a puppet to "G" and what they want.
Is this your assesment or has it been submitted to Google for review. They don't seem to have a terms of use. That page is blank. I would also like to get some kind of official statement, possibly available in writing that the say their service is Adsense safe. So they would assume some kind of liability if is turns out it's not.
Well BlogRush Widget is a collection of posts of various blogs which are related to yours. (Similar to RSS feeds with posts from multiple blogs). Why does the adsense safe question arises here? Why do you think it could be violation of Google Terms?
I'm also a fan of it. You can see what it looks like at www.BlogInterviewer.com . It will be interesting to see how much traffic it generates.
Blogrush is a brand new tool released by the legendary John Reese for his income.com network which he is setting up currently. I haven't even got my first 48 hours stats back from this programme yet, but I want to give any aspiring blogger the chance to see what it's all about before they commit to using it. Blogrush works by relying on fellow blogs in your "category" putting up a BlogRush widget, which then displays other blog posts relating to your niche. The whole networks works by only giving your blog the space on other sites as much as your blog gives space on your site. Basically - it gives your blog the ammount of page views it gets to be displayed on other blogrush sites... so if your site gets 100 page views a day, it will be displayed on 100 blogrush widgets. The beauty of the network is that your link might appear on a site which gets 10,000 pageviews a day and so is therefore exposed to a MUCH wider audience. Now, the team at income.com have been VERY clever in focussing on letting you multiply your revenue by referring other people to the BlogRush program. This means that if John Smith came to your site, saq a BlogRush widget and clicked through and signed up and then put that on his blog, you would get credited with John Smith's pageviews too. This means that your exposure will multiply with the amount of people you refer to the network. This works for a depth of 10 referrals. Now, this may sound great but right now - you've got to ask yourself how much of an advantage this will give you. I mean, it's great that you're getting free exposure on other blogs but you're also giving your readership a lot of other bait to leave your site. Imagine if one of your competitors popped up in the widget and their site was better than yours! You'd loose out big time and all in the name of more exposure and traffic. The other question is about the quality of the traffic. It's great getting 100 extra eyes a day but if those don't click ads or do anything then it's pretty useless, isn't it? Just an overview of BlogRush for all that want to know
I don't know about a banner but I know that the widget has the ability to give you referrals buy embedding your link in their bottom area of the widget. In other words, whoever clicks through to BlogRush from your site is going to earn you a referral point Rich
It looks like a good idea if you have good content and know that some of these visitors will come back; these visitors are more likely to click on ads in future visits and even buy something via your affiliate links if you are doing this kind of marketing on your blog. The only real problem is that the number of visitors you get will depend on the amount of credit you have in the network so if you have a low traffic blog, your links won't show much in the widget; unless you get some large blogger to sign up under you. Small blogs with few or no referals will get little traffic. I have installed the widget on one of my blogs and I will test it for a couple of months. Hopefully, some people will register using my affiliate link in my signature and help me out getting some addition credit BTW, this widget is Google friendly which if you ask me, it is a huge plus these days.
