Anyone still making use of their blogroll? Also is anyone out there with real-estate websites with good tips, plugins, etc.? If you've got an awesome technique or trick I wan't to hear about it! Are there any blogs out there that will add you to their blogroll / add a featured author link on each page of their site in return for articles / Do we have a list running on guest author blogs? I found one PR5 site right in my niche (real estate) but it took about a year for them to finally accept me!
I absolutely use my blogroll. I've just returned to using WordPress after a hiatus on site building. I lost my job and then lost my sites as a result. I moved my site to Blogger for a year or so, and now have a new WP site...or two. Having just come back, I'm not sure about others who are using their blogroll or if it's even feasible anymore, but I have links to friends' blogs in mine. I also plan to use it for resource sites pertaining to writing...which is my niche. I think the best way to network with other bloggers in your niche is to use a networking site or DP and exchange links and services that way. I did learn recently that reciprocal links aren't all the rage anymore, so I see your angle. Best of luck.
