Blogroll link juice value

Here is the deal, I have a few backlinks coming from a blogroll located on 2 PR3 + 1 PR4 sites within my niche. The blogrolls contain only one outbound link, which leads to my site and that is all. It seems to me however, that not much linkjuice is passed through, leading me to believe the link juice value of blogroll backlinks is pretty low. I came to that conclusion when analyzing the backlinks of my competitors who do not come close to having the quality of the backlinks I have, yet they rank higher on me for the competing keywords. I've been offered the option of getting these links inside a post, so in-content. Do you guys think it will be worth it? How will that impact link juice passed to my main site?

Also, I think it is important to mention that the blogroll is only on the homepage and not sitewide.

Ignore this detail. Use 100% of your time you would spend on your site adding content to your site, and continue building links (such as the ones you have just gotten).

    Check again in 3 months.

The blog homepage has the most potential to pass linkjuice so don't worry too much about the link not being sitewide. It's very hard to compare the quality of links between sites - lots of apparently low-quality links might outweigh a few good ones. Keep building links and as your site gets older it'll do better.
