Ok I would really take on board what I'm about to say as it would help your design out a lot: For the welcome text and info make this plain text not a blog post as that's what it is. It looks like a blog that isn't being updated with that date there. Just make it regular text and then play around with alignment etc to make it eye catching. Highlight faintly with yellow or green behind key words etc... Your header is the best part about the design. I would seriously consider making this fill the width of the screen (and same with the menu). I mean to keep a fixed, central design but just have a repeating background. This would give your design a lot more space and be more graphically impressive. Your sign up button seems very dated and out of place compared to your header. Go for bold, modern and glossy. Perhaps increase your text size for the bullet points / info on your main page. Maybe only include google ads on subpages as right now it looks like you have more advert than content. Alternatively I would centralize your welcome text in one column (allowing for larger font size) and then have a horizontal ad below it centralized. If you do all that I might even feature you in my CSS Gallery
i like the design and colors,i just dont like the round logo in the page,i think that the logo in the header is so much professional,and you should use the background color of your ads as same of your sidebar ( the color is #ECFDCE)
