I saw the ads but there are so many free blogs about blogging and guides that I figured the information is already out there. John Chow has a free ebook at:

Of course he is just trying to get a bunch of referrals and stuff, but the information was pretty good for beginners like myself .

 

I have come across Blogging to the bank time and time again, but I am not sure if it is worth it. Like CountryBoy said, it may sound too good to be true...

Yep. I think the only people who are making money are those who are "selling the concept" of making money.

Yep. The more things change the more they stay the same.

A few weeks ago I was reading a blog by a person who was peddling the concept of "Making A Living by Blogging a Home". The last blog I read, she was in anguish because she wasn't making any money and was asking readers for suggestions. What irony!

Selling the dream.. That site is probably making a good income..

1.. Create hope
2.. Cause a sense of urgency
3.. Appear as an authority
4.. Appear unbiased
5.. Encourage fear

Rake it in.. (The Rich Jerk ect, ect)
