    2. Other option includes starting blog with Google at http://Blogger.com both Wordpress and Blogger are free, simple to start with and both have all-inclusive tutorials for basic.

    Blog URL:

    1. The URL should be search engine friendly and user friendly too and if you have your primary keyword in your blog than you have gold in your pocket.

    Posting:

    1. Posting is about loading something on your blog that may be content, image, or the media.
    2. Posting should be regular and related right through the topic and in a specified category.
    3. For the traffic it is necessary to communicate with the comment holders.

    Tagging:

    1. Tagging is about giving keyword to your particular posting.
    2. Tagging gives more exposure to your particular posting

    Categorization:

    1. Always make categorization to your posting so the readers can pick the topic easily.

    Linking:

    1. Linking is one of the important ways to get ranking early on search engines.
    2. For the linking we can go for the related theme blogers.
    3. To get rid dog from the link swapping problem always exchange links from the related theme.
    4. Make a link to your website in blog posting it will also generate back links to your web site.

    Pinging:

    1. Whenever you have posted something new on your blog than let the world web known abt it.
    2. For pinging your you can go to http://pingomatic.com , http://pingoat.com

    Blog Submission:

    1. Submit your blog to blog directories. This will help your blog in two ways, initially you will get straight traffic from there, and secondly your blog will have one more everlasting link there.
    2. Submit blog in different directory with different titles that will give you ranking on more keywords.

    I think with blogs we have one big concern-blogs are easy to start and can be difficult to maintain.
    You've mentioned quite about everything rogi.
    As for a site's own blog I think it needs to be more participating.And interesting enough for a layman.Really, many things go into making an interesting blog over time.

    Wordpress has make this some click away... They have an all-in-one SEO tool...
    but I like my blog to have a lot of traffic...
