Hi, In a book I just bought called Blogging to the Bank it suggests buying two pieces of software called Blog Submitter Pro V Search and Voodoo Blogger. Is this stuff safe to use or is it a bad idea. The author indicates in his book that he is making $500.00 a day doing this. I'm new to Blogging and need to know if there any other types of blogging related software or information via books that works ? Thank you.
Wordpress looks beautiful with the different free theme available at their site and i think the extensions is good too.
Personally I've never heard of either of those. I have however heard of Wordpress, which is a free open source blogging platform that allows for complete customization.
I suggest you try to avoid auto submission software, especially blog. My blog got spammy a hundreads of comment submitted every day so I just block them and set all comments must be approved before appeared. If you refer to good blog software, wordpress is the best one
It's like someone just pulled the words out of my mouth. keblack, If I am right, The 2 softwares you have mentioned are used to post comments on blogs. It sure works, (How do you think these black hat sites make it to good positions in search engines?), but eventually, people will block / delete your comments. If you are serious about your business, and it's not just a short time quick money plan, then I suggest keep away from auto commenters etc... Bye
You don't need to buy an expensive blogging platform to make $500/day. Try Wordpress which is free, flexible and easy to use.
I agree with Jeet, those softwares are some of the ones chosen by spam bloggers. It's easy to comment, trackback, and steal others content. Google is starting to recognize and filter from what I hear and those types of blogs are going to be just an annoyance like junk mail. Wordpress, my platform of choice as well (I have 13 blogs using this one, not spam, I run a blog network) and the open source allows other users to develope ways to make it rock as well as block the spammers. I suggest wordpress all the way. I've tried blogger, but if you want complete control and freedom, rock a wordpress blog. There's a few other open source out there but none like WP. E
You can control easily blogs done from wordpress but I think blogger is good for SEO because its owned by google.
