Hi, a couple of questions I was hoping you could help me with.... 1. How many words do people typically write on a single blog post and how many links do you add ? 2. How can I use Google Analytics to measure how much traffic comes to my blog ?
After recent Panda updates, I heard rumors that Google prefers longer length posts than before so numbers of 400-600 words are commonly advised among the forums I lurk. 2-3 links should be about right if you are link farming. Analytics is pretty straightforward. Just plugin your code on your blog, (follow the instructions) and you'll have daily info sent to your Analytics account.
number of links 2-3 and usual word count for blog posts ranges from 250 - 400+ but better not to stick with word counts. just write whatever you want to share.
it really depends on how you are blogging, the layout, fonts and colors. for me, Ill go for 300 words, with a few pictures.
150 above is the normal and one can you 250 with pictures images etc and can insert @1 % link ratio with
only 2-3 links and usual word count for blog posts ranges from 250(min) - 400+ but better not to stick with word counts.
It depends upon your topic. But most commonly I 400+. I would agree with onlinecasinonederland, better not to stick with word counts and aim to write a good quality content for your blog and your readers.
I try to write at least 450 words per blog entry. Each entry has about 2-3 links. Use Google Analytics as you would with any other site but just keep track of how many users "land" on one of your blog pages.
