blogging on a specific game

    so i've been thinking of starting a video game blog but im not sure if i should focus on a specific game or video games in general. any suggestions?

    I say video games in general.. Unless the game you are blogging about is like a RPG (Thats has many updates and stuff)

    If not you should blog about all games cause many people want to know about all of the new games not just one game.. And also games get old after people beat them and then they will lose interest in your blog

    Go specific. That way you can target keywords and get sale directly to the game.
    Of course you can also sell all video games but getting SERPs for general keywords would be harder.

    I would focus on Video Games in general. Starting a niche about a specific game will get boring. You can however create categories specific to each game.

    You are right. Specific game might give you short term traffic, when those game are no more popular, then you might found huge drop on the traffic. Better go for general and set up categories on specific game

    Blogging just about one single game is a diffucult thing and you will after writing a few posts be left with nothing new to write about. Start a gaming blog and discuss about all new game releases into the market, gaming consoles, information about forums, and sites related to gaming. It will bring you good traffic.
