    Hi All,

I am finally in a spot where i can devote some time and money to my ailing forum.

My goal is to reach 5000 views per month by July 2013 and 3 - 500 posts per month.

My goal is solely focused on traffic and building a community, I have heaps of ideas for monetization but need to get a loyal community first.

    Plans:
    1. SEO
At the moment i plan to spend $100 per month and the analyse after 3 months as to if that is enough spend
    2. Pay to stop the spam bots.
At the moment i get heaps of spam registrations so i need to stop this so proper users can contribute
    3. Travel Competition
I will be giving away a $50 airline voucher each month
    4. Adwords/Facebook
    $50 pm in paid advertising

I have already upgraded to the lasted VB, and am happy with the appearance and layout.

I would love a mentor or any advice for this project. Websites are something i enjoy, but traffic generation is where i struggle.

This thread should help me to keep track of it all and be realistic with my goals.

Vbulletin sites are common at this time, you have to do your best to have a special vbulletin site. The question you must ask is "Why visitors would come on my Vbulletin ? and not others vbulletin sites ?" You have to make it unique.

Unique content is indispensable, and also unique design. The goals you planned are really affordable, with some good work on your vbulletin site, you might make them come true :)

Your forum is actually busy, so you are doing a lot of things right. And there's still a high interest among fellow travelers to frequent travel forums like yours. Keep doing what you're doing and you should be just fine.
