Blogging - Long term over short term

Hi guys, this post isn't directed at SEO INITIALLY but for the long term and in terms of traffic it is.

I recently experimented with one of my blogs. Because I know SEO quite well I always wanted to get my on page SEO right. Therefore my blogs were mostly text.

After doing an experiment with my blogs I discovered that video is a great way to keep people interested, keep people coming back to your blog and also converting sales.

I mean, I love video but for some reason never really used it on my blogs until about a year ago. I reduced the information in my text (I still kept text on there for SEO purposes) but included various videos on different subjects.

My sales increased by around a third.

Create videos myself. Usually use my own voice and give a short demo of the product
