Blogging in Frontpage; also, internal blog gets spanked?

    Hi, newbie writing -

Working like a madman to get my site up and beyond where it is now - substantively and in SERP's (a restaurant failure will tend to motivate). I am new to webmastering and use FP (after spending considerable hours to make the site fully W3C validated, I now know why FP sucks in so many ways - but it's what I've set up for this site on the server, and I will have to stay with it).

I am interested in creating a blog on my own site - to enrich the content and to get the word out in the way that blogs can apparently do so well. I'd rather do this, I think, then creating an off-site blog, so long as the below questions are positive responses.

Questions - how easy is it to:

set up blogger to sit on my site? Can I use FP to do so?
If I don't want to go with blogger, but want to try Wordpress, is FP a no-go here?
I've created a temporary page called our "Outdoors Forum," which I would like to make the ongoing blog page - forgive my naivete, but can I set up a "forum" as a blog, internally, and do the same things here as I would on any external-site blog, such as create pings and rss feeds whenever something new is posted?

Many thanks, all - the breadth and depth of knowledge here is astounding.

    Paul

OK, in reading forums v. blogs, I just got a good understanding of the differences in technology and "personality" between blogs and forums. Because of the pinging and notification ability of blogs, I'd like to go this way. However, I'd like to set up a blog which covers many different aspects of what my site is about - in other words, in terms of contributions, to have the blog set up much like a forum, with each of my product categories having their own sub-categories, for example, with fishing, having a section for specific species, specific types of fishing (e.g., fly and ice fishing), a section for gear reviews, one on fishing reports, regional fishing, and the like. And each of the other main categories of my site would be set up the same way

In other words, a blog that functions like a blog for ping notices and related features, but one which can be set up much like a forum - all within my site, all using FP. Is this possible?

    Thanks.
