It depends on the topic and how much traffic you can get. Also depends on how good you're at monetizing the blog.

Best will be to pick a topic in which you're very passionate about or have good knowledge in.

It depends on the content, quality, niche of your blog. It's possible to make a living out of only blogging, but there are things that you need to consider too. Like what kind of business you are trying to do with your blog, how well you market it and etc.

- New content daily or quite regular
- Traffic (number of visitors to your site)
- Maybe research SEO - this well help you.

- Don't put your eggs in once basket, use your flair of writing and come up with some weird and wonderful posts.
