Blogging For Content Analysis

Sites such as triond.com allow you to analyse which content is most popular. Create an account and then analyse the reader numbers as they accumulate. Not only will this give an idea of what people want to read but over time it may illustrate general trends, for instance heavy traffic days. My data shows Tuesday as the most prolific day.

If you look at the site's popular or productive contributors' panel on their welcome page you are able to see which writers are more popular or productive - as each writer is given a typeface size which increases with popularity or productivity. At the moment, for instance the writer AndAnotherThing (14pt) is more popular than Allen Strider (12pt).

    Does everybody do this anyway?

By the way, does anyone reading this blog for good money? If so, where?

I think it has worked for me as I have some how got my site on page 1 of several leading search engines. I aim to give the content people want and well written.

Could someone discuss this in relation to their own experience or point me in the direction of a similar discussion I could read?
