Blogging for backlinks

I am not familiar at all with blogs, how they work and what they are used for. Could someone please give me the basics on blogs and how I could use them for backlinks. Any articles on the basics of using blogging for back links please share the link!

 

Blogs are great. Why? Because they get increased visits from spiders, which means they get indexed way faster, etc.
So, how to use them for backlinks? Set up some free blogs on blogger, wordpress, etc. and write/buy articles with the keywords to your main-domain.

For example you have a site about Cats, then you open some blogs about cats, and link back to your main-cat-site.

 

You can also post comments with your backlink. make sure the blog is dofollow. There is an add on for firefox to do this.

 

you can start with the free blogs offered by wordpress.com or blogspot.
blogs are great ways of marketing with SEO.

 

Blogs can be effectively used to get backlinks by submitting comments in blog posts. You can comment in any blog post that suits your business niche. Also, if you are good at writing, you can become a guest blogger to write for blogs and you can also get a chance to put your website URL in your written post; it means you got a backlink...

1. You start your own blogs, create useful content and give backlinks from these blogs to your 'money site'.
2. You blog on other people's blogs to get backlinks to your site.
3. You post comments on dofollow blogs (Random examples: www.potpolitics.com, www.blogussion.com)
